A propos :

Emotive Los Angeles by way of Seattle rock phenom Bexley seemingly came out of the cradle with music as a driving force in her life, and has been singing as long as she can remember. At the age of 13 she decided that pre-recorded tracks to accompany her vocals didn't cut it, so she picked up a guitar and taught herself to play a few of her favorite songs.  From there creativity flowed and she realized she could write her own music.  Bexley has spent the last 8 years honing those songwriting skills and building her musical chops, slugging it out in clubs in the Northwest at an age when most teens are still trying to decide what their passion is. Bexley adroitly combines her early Seattle roots and influences into an intoxicating mix of alternative-come-grunge that pays homage to her birthplace while remaining thoroughly modern.  This is evidenced with the release of her debut single "Run Rabbit Run", a song about female empowerment that showcases her guitar skills (she's endorsed by Yamaha Guitars & Ernie Ball strings) and her unique vocal style that evokes comparisons to Shirley Manson and Lzzy Hale – with a dose of Chris Cornell thrown in for good measure.

Born into the supportive Seattle music scene, Bexley quickly rose in local circles and worked hard to rub elbows with local rock and grunge legends to absorb their knowledge while developing her own unique take on music. She was welcomed into the Brotherhood of Guitar by legendary Rock photographer and mentor Robert M. Knight: he included Bexley in his latest book "Rock Gods" alongside such icons as Slash and Jimmy Page. Her style is heavily influenced by the songwriting and harmonies of the Beatles, while sonically drawing from hometown favorites Alice in Chains.  She holds Robert Plant and the aforementioned Chris Cornell as her benchmarks for vocals, and studied the nuance they put into each song.  Bexley explains: “I loved growing up in the Seattle area because all the musicians shared a common love for where we were from and what music came out of that town.  Since I started playing music one of my only goals was to have a crowd of people singing my songs back to me. If I can make that happen, I’ll be happy. I’d also like to make people feel something through my music – it's one of the few things in life that can stir true feelings in someone and I love that aspect of it".

Like many young musicians with a drive to succeed, her career led her down to Los Angeles.Working alongside producer Aaron Edwards (whose credits include Sick Puppies, Black Veil Brides, and Rivals); Bexley has written a 5 song EP "Lost In The Moment" that will be released on January 18th, 2019. The songs are hard hitting, touching on topics that people often have trouble talking about - like harmful relationships ("Toxic Love") and trying to find meaning in our increasingly chaotic world ("Deal"). Bexley wants everyone to know it’s okay to say what you feel. She and Edwards have managed to capture her unique sound and an energy that won’t go unnoticed.

Bexley's impressive live resume of playing over 100 shows a year started at age 13 at legendary club The Showbox, where she became one of the youngest acts to ever play there after being discovered by their talent booker from a YouTube video.  Among her early career milestones is an opening spot on the Revolver magazine "Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock" tour at the age of 16, opening for Lacuna Coil and Sick Puppies.  She's also performed on some big stages, including the "Pain in the Grass" festival and opening for Rob Zombie.Tour dates are currently being set to coincide with the launch her EP in January.
