Marcus Hook Roll Band était un des projets d'Harry Vanda (The Easybeats) et de George Young. Angus et Malcolm ont participé à l'enregistrement de plusieurs titres avant la formation d'AC/DC.
Une partie des titres ont été enregistrés en Angleterre, en 1972, le reste, avec Angus & Malcolm, l'a été en Australie en 1973.
